These Terms govern your use of yardgaragesale.com (the "Service"). By creating an account or using the Service, you agree to these Terms.
1. Accounts
You must provide accurate information, including a valid mobile phone number, and keep your credentials secure. To protect accounts, we require two-factor authentication (2FA) by SMS: you verify your phone at sign-up and may be asked for a one-time code when signing in from a new device. You are responsible for activity under your account.
2. Listing a sale
You may create a sale and add items for free. Publishing a sale live may require a one-time, non-refundable listing fee shown to you before payment. You are responsible for the accuracy and legality of your listings and for conducting your sale.
3. Buying & selling items online
Sellers may optionally enable online checkout for items. Payments are processed by Stripe; the seller is the merchant of record for their items. Online item sales are final as disclosed at checkout; refunds, when offered, follow the policy presented at the time of purchase. yardgaragesale.com is a venue connecting buyers and sellers and is not a party to the underlying sale of goods.
4. Acceptable use
You agree not to use the Service for unlawful, infringing, fraudulent, or harmful purposes, not to list prohibited items, and not to abuse the messaging or payment systems.
5. Messaging
By creating an account you agree to receive transactional SMS (one-time verification codes) as described in our Privacy Policy. Message and data rates may apply. Reply STOP to opt out or HELP for help.
6. Disclaimers & limitation of liability
The Service is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. To the fullest extent permitted by law, yardgaragesale.com is not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages, or for the conduct of buyers or sellers or the condition of items sold.
7. Changes
We may update these Terms; continued use after an update means you accept the revised Terms.
